Nicole mitchell murphy, Nicole Murphy, despite allegedly attempting to ruin Michael Strahan's Hall of Fame ceremony, insists she and her ex-fiance are still close friends.
"It's all good," the 46-year-old producer told TMZ Thursday.
Ample evidence suggests otherwise. According to insiders, the duo's relationship was adequately marred at least as far back as January, when an irate Murphy began slandering Strahan outside his Los Angeles hotel room.
"Nicole showed up at Michael's hotel room, unannounced ... and began banging on the door shortly before midnight, causing a major scene," TMZ reported.
"Nicole was screaming Michael's name, saying, 'I know you're in there with some b-h.' She also yelled, for all to hear, 'It's Michael from 'Kelly and Michael' in there.'"
Murphy's hotel shenanigans failed to quell her lust for vengeance, however. According to Murphy's friends, she purposely leaked news of the duo's split the same day as Strahan's Hall of Fame induction in order to spite the famous ex-footballer.
"Michael and Nicole had actually broken off their engagement several weeks ago," TMZ reported. "But we're told there was no plan -- certainly not on Michael's side -- to announce it before his induction into the Hall of Fame this weekend."
Even if Strahan was cheating, he may have been justified, as Murphy apparently had numerous shameless liaisons of her own.
In April, the Enquirer reported that Strahan was mortified upon learning his beloved fiance had gotten frisky with a French dancer in an LA nightclub—a French backup dancer.
"Michael was stunned," an insider told the paper. "With his career going gangbusters, this type of thing is really upsetting to him. Michael loves Nicole, but he spends a great deal of time in New York working while she's in Los Angeles. So it's shocking to him when rumors pop up that she's flirting up a storm in his absence."
