Duchess Kate Baby Bump, Duchess Kate made another appearance tonight, after her prolonged pregnancy absence, and once again she looked stunning.
It was a black-tie affair, a gala reception at a high-end London restaurant for her charity, Action on Addiction, but her black Alice Temperley cocktail dress looked entirely appropriate.
The long-sleeved Emblem Flare cotton knit dress (about $1,000) resembles stained glass ironwork, with a slashed neckline, scoop back and delicate crocheted panels exposing a nude underslip.
Kate is about 12 weeks pregnant with her second child and is due in April but, as tweeters on the scene noted, there’s barely a baby bump visible, despite the clingy dress.
This did not stop the photographers from angling to snap her from the side.The reaction was fulsome on Twitter, where she was described as “the epitome of chic and glamour.”
It’s Kate’s third engagement (and outfit) in three days since she emerged from her palace, grateful to get out at last after weeks of acute morning sickness. She certainly doesn’t look any worse for the wear.
