Neil Young and Daryl Hannah -- who've both been protesting the proposed Keystone XL pipeline -- were photographed Tuesday in Southern California on what appeared to be a lunch date, complete with arms draped around one another and at least one smooch on the cheek.
The casually dressed couple was on the way to a restaurant in the Westlake Village/Thousand Oaks area. The Daily Mail has the pictures. In one shot, she's carrying a shopping bag from a store in the Promenade at Westlake. In another, she's planting a kiss on Young's cheek.
And yes, it's only been about six weeks since the singer-songwriter, 68, filed for divorce from Pegi Young, his wife of 36 years.
The "Splash" and "Roxanne" actress has been arrested at least three times in connection with pipeline protests, twice in Washington, D.C., (August 2011 and February 2013) and once in Houston (October 2012).
Young and Willie Nelson will headline a fundraising concert in Nebraska later this month, with proceeds going to three groups working against the proposed pipeline. On Wednesday, the "Heart of Gold" singer was on the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival for a special screening of a director's cut of "Human Highway," which he directed and first released in 1982.
Hannah's boyfriends over the years have included Jackson Browne -- also an activist -- and John F. Kennedy Jr. She has never been married.
