Bobbi Kristina Turns 22, Bobbi Kristina Brown turned 22 Wednesday, still unconscious in her Atlanta hospital room, as her late mother Whitney Houston's family posted a rare update.
"Today is Bobbi Kristina's 22nd birthday and we ask you to continue to keep her in your prayers as she is still fighting the battle of her life," read the statement posted on Whitney Houston's website.
It included a picture of Bobbi Kristina and her mother in happier times.The statement was signed by Bobbi Kristina's aunt, Patricia Houston, who's married to Whitney's brother and is the executor of Houston's estimated $20 million estate left in trust for Bobbi Kristina, her only child.
Bobbi Kristina has been comatose on life support in Atlanta since she was found face down and unresponsive in a bathtub in her Roswell, Ga., home on Jan. 31. It was almost three years to the day after Whitney Houston was found dead in a bathtub at a Beverly Hills hotel.
Since then, almost nothing has been heard from her Houston relatives, including her grandmother, Cissy Houston, who have been keeping vigil in Atlanta.
Meanwhile, the fractious family of Bobbi Kristina's father, Bobby Brown, has almost never left the headlines, giving interviews, issuing statements, fighting with each other and fighting with Bobbi Kristina's obstreperous boyfriend, Nick Gordon, who's been attack-tweeting Bobby Brown almost daily.
Gordon tweeted his own birthday wishes, regretting he could not be with her since he's been banned from visiting her by her father. On Tuesday, one of his tweets sounded almost suicidal.
