Evelyn Lozada declines 'Basketball Wives'; Tami Roman wants all-star season

Evelyn Lozada declines 'Basketball Wives'; Tami Roman wants all-star season, If there is a sixth season of VH1's "Basketball Wives," Evelyn Lozada won't be on it. She recently revealed that she declined to be on the show for another season. However, she does seem to be open to being on TV in another way, perhaps by starring in her own spin-off.

On Tuesday, December 2, Evelyn admitted to a fan that she sometimes misses being on TV. Prior to her admission, she retweeted tweets from fans proclaiming that she should star in her own spin-off or at least do a special where she provides fans with an update on her life. The fans' tweets were a reaction to Evelyn's revelation a few days ago that she declined coming back to the show that made her a star.

Whether there is a season six is actually still up in the air. As reported by Sister 2 Sister Magazine in early November, the other major star of the show, Tami Roman, said in an interview that a season six may not happen because season five wasn't so successful. Tami said that the show's producers took season five in a different direction since there was so much outcry over the previous seasons' intense fights. Unfortunately, season five, which focused more on the women's personal lives and career paths, wasn't a big hit with fans.

Tami also pointed out that even if the show's producers can get an okay for season six, getting everyone together may be hard. She pointed out that Evelyn is busy with her new life, which includes a baby, while she's busy with her various businesses. She also admitted that creator and executive producer Shaunie O'Neal is preoccupied with the show's Los Angeles spin-off.

As for who Tami Roman wants to be on "Basketball Wives" now, she said that doing an all-stars season would be good. The cast would include "the starters and some of the heavy hitters that came later," such as Jen Williams and Royce Reed. Unfortunately for Tami, as evidenced by her tweet, Evelyn Lozada won't be on her dream cast.
