Kate appeared to be without her director husband Michael Polish who she married in August last year. Kate, who stars in new Julianne Moore film Still Alice as one of Moore's children, looked happy and relaxed at the bash.
Very much the fashionista, Kate is even taking an interest in designing herself - she recently announced she will be launching her own shoe collection with Matisse Footwear in March 2015 at a few select stores including Nordstrom.
'My intention for the collaboration was to create directional designs that are wearable,' she said in a statement.
'This is the type of footwear I respect and appreciate in my own wardrobe - designs that are thoughtful, exciting, and mindful of everyday wear.'
The 31-year-old joined a group of stars at the event - to celebrate the re-opening of the Rodeo Drive Coach store location.
Coach Backstage is an initiative launched by the fashion giant to focus on emerging musicians, and on Thursday Kid Cudi and Skylar Grey were the lead performers to celebrate the store opening.
Emily Ratajkowski cut an equally striking figure in a cropped black top and matching shorts teamed with matching sandals.The model-turned actress, who recently starred in Gone Girl, showed off her slim figure in the ensemble which she teamed with a mint green shoulder bag.

A report in Us Weekly has linked her to Magid after they were spotted 'cosying up together' at last week's Bombay Sapphire Artisan Series Finale party and 'holding hands.'
