Actor Warren Clarke has died aged 67 after a short illness,
Born in Oldham, Clarke starred in dramas Call the Midwife and Down to Earth.
A remake of Poldark, his last role before his death, is due to be released next year.
Earlier in his career he appeared in A Clockwork Orange and worked alongside Hollywood actor Clint Eastwood in the film Firefox.
He recalled that experience on The One Show in 2011.
