Sons of Anarchy' spoilers: Drea de Matteo talks final episode 'Papa's Goods'

Sons of Anarchy' spoilers: Drea de Matteo talks final episode 'Papa's Goods', There are only three episodes left before the popular biker drama "Sons of Anarchy" ends its run on FX. However, the truth is just starting to get out, and the final episodes will be some of the most violent ever. On November 13 TVLine posted an interview with actress Drea de Matteo, who plays Wendy Case on the series, about what fans can expect from the end of the show. The final episode of the seventh and final season will air on Tuesday, December 9 at 10 p.m. on FX.

Matteo starred as Jax Teller's drug addict ex-wife and the mother of his son Abel in season one, before leaving town to get clean and resurfacing in season six. Max finally told Abel the truth that Wendy is his real mom in the previous episode, which led to Abel spilling the beans to Jax that Gemma killed Tara. Wendy is a series regular in season seven and Matteo called the final episode "one of the best" season finale's in television history.

Matteo revealed that in the final three episodes Wendy final gets to "be a mom" to Abel, since she is now living in the house with Jax and the boys. The actress claims that Wendy is still completely in love with Jax, but dislikes that her son has grown up around so much violence. Wendy has "more of a center" this season, instead of being drawn to drugs or leaving town when it gets too difficult. She is the character in season seven with the highest self-worth.

According to the International Business Times on November 13, Matteo called the final episode "beautiful" and that she hasn't even seen the episode all put together. The series recently wrapped filming on the finale in early November, and there is less than one month until all the episodes have aired. Wendy is sticking around Charming for the duration in order to be a "comfort" to her child, instead of running scared.

Matteo also joked that her ideal ending for Wendy is that the entire seven seasons was something that Jax dreamed up, and he meets Wendy after he wakes up. However, the series is loosely based on the story of Hamlet by Shakespeare, so the ending way not be that happy. It's safe to say that since Matteo has read the scripts for the final episode, she will not be one of the many casualties still to come on the series.

According to Matteo, Wendy was originally supposed to die in the pilot episode. She created an entire backstory for her character, including a broken home on the East Coast and a desire to be a stripper out in California where she meets Jax. Matteo also hinted that Wendy's friendship with Nero is an important part of season seven, since the pair are two characters that only stick around for one reason: love. And if for some reason Jax should parish, Wendy would be around to raise both Thomas and Abel.
