Nick Lachey Vanessa Minnillo, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo have another baby on the way! The 40-year-old 98 Degrees singer took to Twitter Tuesday to share the exciting news with fans.
"Can't think of a better way to celebrate 3 years of marriage to my beautiful @VanessaLachey than this! #family," Lachey captioned a photo of his son running on the beach with the words "It's a girl" written in the sand with a heart.
Lachey and Minnillo welcomed their frist child, Camden John Lachey, to the world in September 2012.
The 33-year-old brunette beauty was vocal about her struggle in her first few months of motherhood in an in depth blog post titled "Inside Story: My Experience with Baby Blues" published on March 6, 2013.
"No matter how many books you read, NOTHING prepares you better than the real thing," she wrote.
The growing family certainly seems to be happier than ever these days.
"My wife's maternal side is a new dynamic to her personality," Lachey told Parents magazine in June. "It's definitely made her even sexier.
"I knew the man I was going to marry was not only a great man, a good friend, and a family guy, but he was going to respect and treat me well and be an amazing father and role model to our children. That's Nick," Minnillo added of her husband.
The two first starting dating in 2006 after Minnillo starred in Lachey’s music video for "What's Left of Me."
The track's lyrics were reportedly about his divorce from ex-wife Jessica Simpson.
Lachey's baby No. 2 announcement comes one week after Simpson tied the knot to longtime partner and father of her two children, Eric Johnson.
