Kendra Wilkinson tries to put marriage trouble behind her as she enters I'm A Celebrity... but can't escape her sex-tape past as photos resurface, Kendra Wilkinson may have thought she was escaping her troubles as she hopped on a plane bound for the Australian jungle to compete in the British reality show I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!.
But while she may be distancing herself from her marital issues with husband Hank Baskett in the wake of his alleged affair with a transsexual, it seems another unwanted aspect of her past has followed her.
The sex tape made with ex-boyfriend Justin Frye in 2005 that was leaked in 2010 - the rights subsequently acquired and the video released by Vivid Entertainment under the title Kendra Exposed - has come back to haunt her.
While the former live-in girlfriend of Playboy honcho Hugh Hefner is now a married 29-year-old mother-of-two, she owns her past and while she previously called its release 'embarrassing', she accepts that it's just something she has to live with.
In June 2010 she explained of the unfortunate timing: 'It just had to come out now when I finally cleaned up my life.'
She continued of the situation: 'It's extremely embarrassing. I am a very open person, I am very honest about my life, but a sex tape was definitely not what I wanted in my life. It wasn't for anybody else's eyes to see except for ours.'
While the tape may have been the most shameful aspect of her past, right now, the star is dealing with the much more painful and possibly marriage-ending rumours that her husband of fives years cheated on her.
The former NFL star has been accused of having sexual relations with transsexual Ava London while his wife was eight months pregnant with the couple's second child - daughter Alijah, now six months.
Their struggle to get their marriage back on track following the damning allegations is currently being depicted on their reality show, Kendra On Top.
The couple are of course also parents to son Hank IV, four-and-a-half. Though she's halfway across the world from her husband right now, Kendra insists the pair are simply 'taking a breather' and are not on the verge of divorce.
'I'm having fun with you guys, but I didn't mean to make you guys think I'm divorcing or anything,' she says.
'This is a good time to take a little break, and take a breather. Just focus on me, for a second; focus on being an independent woman, and an independent person. Really make this a refresh button. Something I can do for myself, and take a breather from back home.'
The new series kicks off on Sunday, November 16 at 9pm on ITV.
