Hulk dukes it out with Hulkbuster armor created just for fun by CGI animators, According to a Facebook page for Iron man Mk Z armour on Sunday, a project involving a photo-by-photo a battle between Tony Stark's Hulkbuster armor and Hulk was posted on their social media page. CGI special effects film animator and director Anthony McGrath and incredible character modeller for the Hulk Mark Cushley are involved in this project.
In times past, they had recently posted singular animated footage of each Marvel Comics character, but there is no funding as this is purely fan art per recent posts on their social media site. That being said, it was mentioned that it takes around 18 months to complete a full project.
So it looks like it's getting there slowly but surely. Eager Facebook commenters were remarking how the team was just "teasing" them with only photos, but once an explanation of the time tables was made apparent, it made sense.
Back in December of last year, the crew did a complete piece where Tony Stark is barreling down the highway in his Audi when he's attacked by the Ten Rings. Considering how it's fascinating to see the different methods by which Tony Stark dons the suit during precarious situations, this footage provides yet another remarkable method of getting his suit on as quickly as possible.
So far such situations involved his encounter with Loki, played by Tom Hiddleston atop Stark Tower in "The Avengers", the suitcase scene during Stark's Grand Prix De Monaco encounter with Whiplash, played by Mickey Rourke, and it even got better in "Iron Man 3" where he developed the technology to remotely call his suit piece-by-piece remotely.
Such a similar battle is even seen in Joss Whedon's "Avengers 3" comic book movie trailer. The film is slated for release on May 1, 2015.
