Later on, Rosa Saca from the USC Medical Center said that the mother is now in stable condition, while the youngest child is in guarded condition. The 3-year-old has also been recovering and is now in stable condition, Saca said.

The area of the crash is expected to be closed for several hours, according to an alert from USC.
