Lisa Flynt, daughter of porn king Larry Flynt, remains on life support after driving drunk, The daughter of pornography king Larry Flynt remains on life support after she drunkenly crashed into a semitrailer on Friday, her relatives said.
Lisa Flynt, 47, of Dayton, Ohio, is still in critical condition at Miami Valley Hospital, hospital officials told The Daily News on Thursday.
“Seems like for some reason, she’s holding on,” Flynt’s husband, Glenn Fugate, told the Dayton Daily News.It seemed like a promising change from Tuesday, when Fugate was told by doctors that she had limited brain activity and her body was shutting down.
While Flynt was holding on for her life, dozens of people attended a vigil for her near the spot where she was injured, outside of a Dollar General store.
She’ll give you the shirt off her back,” said friend Pam Jones. “She was such a great person, a good loving person.”
Flynt, who had a blood-alcohol level of more than twice the legal limit when she was driving, is the daughter of the 71-year-old publisher of Hustler and chairman of an adult entertainment empire.
Cops said in a report that she had failed to come to a halt at a stop sign and was ejected from the 1999 Oldsmobile she was driving, owned by a Dayton woman, and became trapped underneath it.
