Kate Gosselin: The Shocking Way She Monitors Jon’s Parenting Time
Caring for children after a divorce is never easy, but what happens when you absolutely despise your ex? Well, for Kate, she goes to the extreme to ensure her 8 children do not reveal intimate family details — even to their own father.
The former star of Jon & Kate Plus 8 reportedly asked former nannies to monitor EVERYTHING her children did. This included their private phone calls with their dad, to the amount of gas Jon uses with the family van. Eek!
One nanny even revealed to Radar Online that Kate’s secret babysitter “rulebook” limits the children’s phone interactions with their dad. The rule allegedly says to “listen with one ear to hear what they are saying” and to “report everything you see and hear!!!”That’s pretty intense, even for Kate.
The rule goes on to say, “They may call their dad when they ask permission using the house phone only. You do not have to grant permission if you are busy or the schedule doesn’t allow it (example: dinner time, shower time, bed time, room cleaning time, or homework time). Please keep a listening ear open and have them stand nearby.”
Wow. Maybe the former Celebrity Apprentice star is just being a protective mother? These so-called rules are definitely… interesting. To say the least.
Kate’s Nannies Are Required To ‘Log’ Conversations With Jon
The Gosselin nanny bombshells did not stop there. The same report reveals that the rulebook demands that nannies were also forced to record every single interaction they had with Jon — no matter how small it was.
“Even if we had a conversation about nothing, I had to email her all the details,” a babysitter explained. “And I also had to keep a log of every time Jon returned the [shared] van to make sure he used the correct amount of gas!”
