Harry Potter stars: Where are they now?

Harry Potter stars: Where are they now?, With Halloween approaching, there's a whiff of magic and mystery in the air. This seems like a good time to catch up with some beloved and not-so-beloved "Harry Potter" cast members. Caution: Spoilers ahead!

Helena Bonham Carter – known for her unique fashion style – played the über-villainous Bellatrix Lestrange in the films (how happened to Bellatrix?) but is also known for appearing in movies directed by her longtime partner.

Robbie Coltrane might be unrecognizable to fans (what does he really look like?) after wearing all that hair playing Rubeus Hagrid in the "Potter" films.

Warwick Davis is known to fans as Professor Filius Flitwick, but the British actor went on to play "himself" in a mockumentary-style TV series after his role ended.

Tom Felton (see recent photos) who played the love-to-hate-him Draco Malfoy recently reunited with other cast members at Universal Orlando's Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

Playing evil Lord Voldemort, aka "He Who Must Not Be Named," rendered Ralph Fiennes nearly unrecognizable (see how he looks out of makeup) but that hasn't hurt the Oscar nominee's film career one bit since the series ended.

Michael Gambon, 73, (see him now) – who has a much younger girlfriend – took over the iconic role of Prof. Albus Dumbledore after this acting legend died between the second and third movies.

Rupert Grint was cast as fan favorite Ron Weasley when he was only 11 years old (see Rupert all grown up) and has kept up his film career since leaving the "Potter" universe.

The 25-year-old Michael Lewis  – who played adorkable hero Neville Longbottom – definitely wins the "biggest transformation" award (see for yourself).

Evanna Lync, who played the quirky Luna Lovegood has blossomed into quite a lovely young lady (see pics) and played a famous wife on stage last year.

Gary Oldman, (what does he look like lately?) who played Harry's imprisoned godfather, Sirius Black, has appeared in a Batman flick since "Potter" ended and a summer blockbuster.

Identical twins James and Oliver Phelps (see what they look like nowadays) played pranksters-turned-fighters Fred and George Weasley (which one died in battle?) and have a new comedy slated for release sometime this year.

Daniel Radcliffe, the "boy who lived," has grown up to be the man who is quite handsome (check him out). In addition to appearing in several movies since "Harry Potter" filming ended, Radcliffe has spent time on Broadway and dated a fellow thespian.

Alan Rickman (what does he look like now?), who has had the same partner for more than three decades, has appeared in several films since Prof. Severus Snape met his ultimate fate at the hands of Lord Voldemort.

Maggie Smith watched over Hogwarts' students as Prof. Minerva McGonagall and has stayed busy since the series ended (see photos), appearing in the retiree-centric films "Quartet" and "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel."

Natalia Tena played the purple-haired, half-blood witch Nymphadora Tonks, who died alongside her husband at the Battle of Hogwarts (who killed her?). She's rocking more of a red-carpet look (see photos) these days.

The beloved Remus Lupin may have died at the Battle of Hogwarts (who killed him?), but David Thewlis, the British actor who played him, is alive and well (check him out nowadays).

Julie Walters played Molly Weasley, matriarch of the redheaded Weasley clan. The naturally silver-haired beauty (see photos) became everyone's favorite witch mom.

Emma Watson, the former Hermione Granger, chopped off her long locks soon after "Potter" ended (see her nowadays) and has been the darling of magazine editors ever since. Oh, and she's dating a rugby player.

The Weasleys' little sister is all grown up (see photos). Bonnie Wright is making a go of it in the film industry both in front of and behind the camera.
