Authorities identified him as John Donald Cody using military fingerprint records but the 67-year-old calls himself Bobby Thompson.

After being indicted in 2010, he disappeared for nearly two years before he was arrested in Portland, Oregon with fake IDs and a suitcase stuffed with cash totaling nearly $1 million.
Records show the defendant showered politicians with donations but the judge rejected a defense request to subpoena testimony from recipients, including U.S. House Speaker John Boehner.
