4 killed when small plane crashes off Bahamas, A small airplane on a sightseeing flight crashed into the ocean off the Bahamas Sunday, and all four people aboard were believed to have perished, police said.
The Tribune newspaper in Nassau reported police Superintendent Stephen Dean said the plane went down several miles off Grand Bahama shortly after 11 a.m. He said a team sent to the crash site found the plane's wreckage but not bodies.
The Bahamas Weekly said the aircraft was a single-engine Cirrus.
