Jon Cryer's ex-wife wants extra $80k per month for child support, Sarah Trigger claims the $8,000 a month she is getting in child support from Jon Cryer are not enough.
Sarah Trigger, Jon Cryer's ex wife, claims the couple's 13-year-old son has become the victim of ridicule at school because the $8,000 monthly child support isn't enough to keep up with his classmates' lavish lifestyle.
According to TMZ, Trigger has asked a judge to grant her the right to receive $88,969 per month based on the fact that she now has custody of the couple's son Charlie 50 percent of the time. When the current child support figure was established in 2010, Trigger only had custody four percent of the time.
Cryer's ex claims that the Two and a Half Men star is making $2 million per month from his hit sitcom and thus, the increase in child support shouldn't be too much for him.
Trigger said that Charlie's friends would go on "exotic vacations in the summer and winter like Europe and Thailand" and hosted "huge birthday parties at expensive places like Sky High Sports and they invite the entire grade," both of which she can't afford.
"Last year there were multiple Bar Mitzvahs and Bat Mitzvahs all with custom invitations, a dress code and huge private receptions afterward," she continued.
Trigger explained that her lack of resources is affecting Charlie and claims that is the only reason behind the request for a child support increase.
