As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Hailee Steinfeld was to star with Vince Vaughn in the Term Life movie, but the project may have been kicked to the curb by Universal.
You might remember Hailee Steinfeld from her role as Mattie Ross in the 2010 True Grit remake. Since that movie came out Hailee Steinfeld has been cast in eight more films, with four of them coming out in 2013.
Two of these films came out in September already. The movie Hateship Loveship gave Hailee Steinfeld a chance to play the role of the bad girl whose father is a former drug addict. When it came to Romeo & Juliet there actually was some controversy over this movie since the original script would have had Hailee Steinfeld nude for several scenes. The thing is, Hailee Steinfeld is 16 years old and the script was originally written with a 20-year-old woman in mind. But obviously they scrapped plans for any steam love scenes involving Hailee Steinfeld.
The most anticipated role Hailee Steinfeld has this year has to be Ender’s Game, where she plays as Petra Arkanian, one of the few female child soldiers sent to the Battle School orbiting Earth. This movie role has Hailee Steinfeld working alongside Harrison Ford, who is so much older than her that she couldn’t help joking about the generational gap:
“Lots of people will ask if I even know who Harrison Ford is. His work has definitely carried across to my generation. Working with him was just the coolest experience.”
In 2014 Hailee Steinfeld will be working with Samuel L. Jackson in a movie called Barely Lethal where she plays as a teenage assassin who suddenly decides she wants a normal life as a high schoolers. Jackson plays as Hailee Steinfeld’s former employer so you might expect this to be an action comedy. Ninjas on a plane?
