Elizabeth berkley mario lopez, You may or may not have been a big fan of 90′s television sitcoms, but everyone knows of one sitcom in particular – “Saved by the Bell.” As one of the most popular teenage sitcoms ever, “Saved by the Bell” dominated television from 1989 to 1993.

Some of the most memorable moments on the show were centered around their budding teenage love stories. One love story in particular was that of Elizabeth Berkley who played the role of ‘Jesse,’ and Mario Lopez, affectionately known as A.C. Slater.

The two characters often appeared to be complete opposites, always engaging in ‘lover’s quarrels’ with occasional glints of comedic banter. However, no matter how paradoxical their characters appears, the two always possessed the ‘on-screen’ romantic chemistry to make it all flow effortlessly.

While its a rarity to see them together anymore, there are those extraordinary occasions where luck intervenes and makes it all possible. However, it was Extra TV that made it possible this week. MTV reported that Elizabeth Berkley and Mario Lopez crossed paths and indulged in a mini ‘Saved by the Bell’ reunion on Extra .

Mario Lopez, host of Extra, got a chance to chat with Berkley about her current competition on the ever-popular “Dancing with the Stars” with her dance partner Val Chmerkovskiy. Lopez shared a picture of the two on Twitter. Then, Berkley returned the friendly gesture with kind words of gratitude and a memorable picture of the two of them.

While the two are receiving laudable reviews on the show, Chmerkovskiy have one qualm about the competition. He jokingly preferred, “the other one (Kelly Kapowki) on “Saved by the Bell.” She exasperatingly responded, “Are you serious?! Oh my God!” Fortunately for him, Berkley doesn’t believe in Jesse Spano’s ‘men are pigs’ motto. She and Chmerkovskiy’s camaraderie is just as superb as they are on the dance floor.
