Update: Two men, woman charged in deadly shooting of man at Marietta bar, Two men and a woman have been arrested in the murder of a Sandy Springs man who was shot and killed at a bar in Marietta over the weekend.
On Tuesday officers charged Mr. Dennis Hampton, Mr. Joseph Chatman and Ms. Trina Chatman with felony murder and aggravated assault, Marietta police said.
Mr. Hampton was also charged with malice murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in the shooting that happened early Sunday morning inside Milo’s Bar at 188 Garrison Road, police spokesman Detective Christopher Lindsey said.
Still, police have not released a motive for the 34-year-old man’s murder.
Around 3 a.m. officers that Sunday officers responded to a report of a person shot at the bar, and found Mr. Takilam Terrell lying in the parking lot, bleeding from a gunshot wound.
He had been shot inside the bar before running out and collapsing in the parking lot, Det. Lindsey said.
Mr. Terrell was transported to Kennestone Hospital where he underwent emergency surgery, but was pronounced dead later that morning, Det. Lindsey said.
Mr. Hampton and Ms. Chatman are currently being listed at the Cobb County jail, according to booking records. So far, Mr. Joseph Chatman has not appeared on the booking sheet.
