Strip club receives citations, A strip club in Charlotte, North Carolina has made headlines for breaking the law, which resulted in citations being handed out.
WBTV reports that according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, members of the Alcohol Beverage Control Unit, along with an investigator, performed an investigation at the Daisy Dooks strip club in Charlotte.
When agents arrived, there was the scent of marijuana in the air, with alcohol being consumed after 3:30 a.m. There were also two female dancers performing completely nude.
According to N.C. law, completely nude dancing and alcohol drinking within an ABC-licensed establishment after 2:30 a.m. is not allowed.
Among those who received the citations were the club owner for not stopping the actions, a customer who was drinking, and the two dancers performing fully nude for indecent exposure.
The officers took several bottles of alcohol from the scene as evidence. All ABC violations are forwarded to the N.C. ABC Commission.
