Stationary front lingers south of the region with unsettled weather contining,  stationary front will linger just south of the region through the end of the workweek, with several waves of low pressure riding along it and delivering bouts of rain to the region with temperatures gradually getting cooler as the week progresses. Things will look to dry out just in time for the weekend.

Today – Cloudy with a chance of rain showers this afternoon. High 56-60. Winds northwest between 5 and 10 mph. Chance of rain 30 percent.

Tonight – Cloudy with rain likely. Low 39-43. Winds north between 5 and 10 mph. Chance of rain 70 percent.

Thursday – Cloudy and cooler with a chance of rain showers. High 43-47. Winds north between 5 and 10 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.

Thursday Night – Cloudy with rain likely, mixing with snow and sleet across northern and higher terrain areas. Low 35-39. Winds north between 10 and 15 mph. Chance of precipitation 80 percent.
