Man reports himself for driving drunk, According to The Sentinel, it was reported on April 8 that a man from Jasper County, Indiana was driving drunk and called 911 on himself, reporting himself for driving drunk. Apparently, he drove off the median of the road and ended up in a grassy area with a flat tire. He then called 911 to report himself for driving drunk and asking them to take him off the road.
When police arrived at the scene, they tested his blood alcohol level and found he was at .09 which is just over Indiana's legal limit. He was arrested and was held at the Jasper County, Indiana jail for a driving while intoxicated charge.
He got his wish when he asked to be taken off the road and was then arrested on the drunken driving charge.
