Andy Murray has moved up to third place in the world rankings at Rafael Nadal’s expense.

Nadal lost his first semi-final on clay for 12 years this weekend as Fabio Fognini saw off the Spaniard to book his place in the final of the Rio Open-which he lost to David Ferrer-as he dropped down a spot to fourth in the world rankings.
