Written by Philip Roth, the story follows Seymour Levov, a man who leads a charmed life as the star of his high school, husband to a former beauty queen and successful business and family man.
But his conventional, upper middle class life derails through a series of tragic events that includes a daughter who becomes a radicalized revolutionary during the Vietnam War.
The film, produced with Lakeshore Entertainment, will star Jennifer Connelly and Dakota Fanning.
