Thin Tara Reid ignores continued criticism of her weight as she unveils more bikini snaps from her romantic break in Mexico , Tara Reid has faced a storm of fierce criticism on social media over her weight recently, but she won't be deterred from showing off her svelte frame.
On Tuesday - a day after a number of her Instagram followers expressed their shock at her thin appearance - the actress, 39, shared more images from her trip to Mexico with her boyfriend.
The Sharknado star looked elated in pictures showing her relaxing on a beach and running through the ocean waves in a multi-coloured striped bikini in Tulum on the Yucatan Peninsula.
And while the other comments ranged from the downright cruel to the supportive, Tara appeared to be in jovial spirits as she continued to give followers an inside peek her festive getaway.
A day before, the set of pictures she shared with followers also attracted comments of concern.Under an image of Tara posing in front of the sea in a multi-coloured, patterned string bikini, one wrote: 'Tara, please look after yourself. I write this without jealousy or hate, just genuine concern.
'Your figure resembles that of someone underfed in a lot of these pics. Your timetable may be gruelling but please take time out to look after your health. You've so many fans and we're all here to support you.'
Opined another: 'Yes, I also think Tara is dangerously skinny.'
While various comments have been pouring in, the Sharkando star appears, quite rightly, to be focussed on basking in the sunshine with her boyfriend.
'The weather is so amazing here,' she informed her 50,300 Instagram followers. 'I have a permanent smile on my face.'
In November, the actress defended her weight after she unveiled a picture of herself looking even more thin over the Thanksgiving holiday,You know what, I was with my parents in Palm Springs,' Tara told TMZ. 'We had the best, my mom's the best cook ever.'
And far from dieting, the 39-year-old claimed she in fact had a huge appetite.
'I'm just a small boned girl, you see?' she said 'I eat, I eat, I eat, I eat. Some people eat too much you yell at them - they're fat.'
She added: 'I'm just what I am. So if you wanna get mad at me cause I'm skinny, go ahead. I am what I am.'
