Star Wars & James Bond Actor Khan Bonfils Tragically Dies During Stage Rehearsal, Actor Khan Bonfils unexpectedly passed away during a stage rehearsal for Dante's Inferno this week, which was set to open today at London's Rag Factory.

Bonfils was best known for his appearances in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, Skyfall, and Batman Begins.

According to Craft Theatre, the production company that was putting on the play:

”Khan collapsed during a rehearsal and the director Rocky Rodriguez Jr performed CPR on location."

Unfortunately, Rocky was unable to resuscitate the 42-year-old Khan and neither were the paramedics that arrived at the scene.

Khan's passing was sudden and shocking, and his cause of death is still unknown.Craft posted the following to their website following Khan's death:

"In honour of Kan Bonfils, CRAFT Theatre will continue with plans to stage their production of Dante's Inferno, which Mr Bonfils was due to perform in and would have opened on January 8th 2015. Actor Ryan Prescott, a close friend, will be stepping in to represent Mr Bonfils's work, alongside other company members yet to be confirmed. Director Rocky Rodriguez said: 'We've been through a bit of a trauma, it's all very difficult to stomach.

The only thing we know how to do is continue to do what we do. We need to finish the journey that Kan was on.'

The production will open on January 10th 2015 at 8:00 at the Rag Factory, and press are invited to attend from January 15th 2015."
