Michelle Williams Heath house, Michelle Williams has sold the Brooklyn house she once shared with the late Heath Ledger for $8.8m, according to new reports.
The 34-year-old actress - who has a nine-year-old daughter, Matilda, with tragic Heath - listed the six-bedroom, four-and-a-half bathroom townhouse in September for $7.5m.
But the former Dawson's Creek star got $1.3m over the asking price, according to property blog 6sqft. She made a huge profit too, having bought property for $3.6m in 2005 with Heath, who died in 2008 from an accidental overdose of prescription drugs.
The news comes following reports Michelle upped sticks and relocated to Los Angeles recently to help her get more film roles.
The spacious home, located in the Boerum Hill neighbourhood, is 22ft wide and has ceilings that are 12ft high, and even features a roof garden complete with ivy and a waterfall.
The open plan chef’s kitchen and living room with stunning wood floor, a fireplace and French windows is the perfect spot for entertaining.
According to the listing, there’s also a beautiful library, garage for three cars – with one currently converted into a ‘climate controlled recreation room’ – surround sound with double turntables and heated floors.
If that wasn’t enough luxury, there’s a media room, walk-in wardrobe and pantry, and a wine cellar.It is understood Michelle hasn't lived in the house for some time.
In October 2012 MailOnline reported that Michelle moved out of the property to set up home with her then-boyfriend Jason Segel.
The pair moved into a converted warehouse complex in Brooklyn, which boasted stunning views of the Manhattan skyline.
Radar Online claimed in May that Michelle and Matilda will be moving to Los Angeles at the end of the year.
The My Week With Marilyn star recently finished her role in Cabaret on Broadway as Sally Bowles, with Emma Stone taking over the role in November.
It is said that Michelle wants to be in LA so that it is easier for her to land film roles.
Her latest movie Suite Française was released last month and is a World War II romance between a French villager and a German soldier, based on the 2004 novel of the same name.
The film also stars Kristin Scott Thomas, Margot Robbie, Sam Riley, and Matthias Schoenaerts as Michelle’s character’s love interest.
