2015 Coachella lineup, The headliner, and big-get, at this year’s Coachella Festival may have some problems keeping the beat.
Mega-metal band AC/DC will make its first appearance at a festival in 20 years during the April event in the California desert. But, right now, there’s a question about the fate of their drummer.
Stick man Phil Rudd stands accused of threatening to kill two people, as well as possession of Methamphetamine and cannabis. He has filed not guilty pleas, and a hearing is set for Feb. 10th.
The band hasn’t announced if Rudd will continue with them or if they’ll seek someone new. Either way, they’ll have to decide soon. Their Coachella dates (April 10th and 17th) set up a full world tour, beginning in May.
The event — held over a pair of three-day weekends this Spring — features AC/DC as its first-night headliner, followed by top-man Jack White on day two and Drake on the final day.
Other big names of the weekends include Steely Dan, Tame Impala, Hozier, Alabama Shakes, Ryan Adams, Florence and the Machine, and Interpol.
The run of shows will feature some to EDM talent, including Kaskade, David Guetta and Alesso.
Tickets for both weekends go on sale Wednesday, Jan. 7th at 9 a.m. EST via Coachella.com.
