Jennifer Warnes: "I'll never sing that song again", ennifer Warnes says singing with Joe Cocker was "one of the most thrilling things" she's done in her life.
The pair sang the Platinum-Certified, Grammy Award-winning song " Up Where We Belong" for the hit film An Officer and A Gentleman in 1983.
Jennifer says audiences were "relieved" to hear that "men and woman can actually harmonise" at a time when genders were so polarised.
She adds, "it's very difficult" to talk about Joe in the past tense and that "it's a strange feeling" to know she won't sing the song with him again.
Joe Cocker died aged 70 after a career that lasted more than 40 years.
