Heidi Klum's provocative Sharper Image ads are BANNED in Las Vegas for being 'too sexy, Heidi Klum's suggestive holiday campaign for electronics brand Sharper Image has been banned by officials in Las Vegas who say the risqué ads are 'too sexy' for public display.
The adverts, which showcase some of the brand's most popular items, each feature a scantily-clad or nude image of Ms Klum, 41, alongside cheeky phrases such as 'What keeps Heidi Klum busy in the shower?' and 'What turns Heidi Klum on?'.
And while the campaign has proved a hit across major cities in New York and Los Angeles, a spokesperson for the McCarren International Airport in Clark County, Las Vegas, where the ads have been banned, insisted that the provocative imagery violates a local regulations about imagery which features women's breasts.
The regulation states that any images 'showing of the female breast with less than a fully opaque covering or any portion thereof below the nipple' are prohibited in public places.
But despite the outcry in Sin City, a spokesperson for Sharper Image insists that the company believes the images are 'tasteful' and 'beautiful' and should in no way be deemed 'inappropriate'.
'We are shocked that the Sharper Image ads featuring Heidi Klum have been banned in Las Vegas-- of all places,' Chief Marketing Officer, Dari Marder, said.
'We believe the campaign is tasteful, beautiful and while sexy not inappropriate, in any way. The reaction to it has been fabulous to date and it is running in all forms of media without any issue.'
While shooting the ads earlier this year, Ms Klum insisted that the more risqué campaigns which require her to pose in little to no clothing are among her most enjoyable.
[I feel sexiest] when I'm shooting, to be honest—the less I have on,' the model told Us Weekly.
'Many people maybe are the opposite, like maybe they [prefer to be] more dressed. But the less clothes I have on, the easier it is for me to shoot, and the sexier I feel."
This isn't the first time that Ms Klum has seen one of her ad campaigns pulled from circulation, however.
In 2013, a billboard promoting the newest season of Project Runway, on which she appears as a judge, was banned in Los Angeles because of its controversial nature.
The ad featured Ms Klum posing alongside her co-host Tim Gunn, with the pair both wielding large, aggressive-looking needles while standing over a group of naked models.
