Good looks run in the family! Sofia Vergara's sister Sandra steals the limelight in an eye-catching black netted gown as she arrives at film awards gala in LA, They say good looks run in the family and the Vergara sisters have certainly proved that sentiment.
So it’s no wonder that Sofia’s little sister, Sandra, managed to turn heads when she graced the red carpet at the 2014 Hamilton Behind The Camera Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday evening.
The 26-year-old actress, who is actually Sofia’s cousin and adopted sister, was dressed to the nines in a gorgeous black netted floor–length gown, which showcased her lean and slender frame to perfection.
The brunette stunner added a touch of glamour to the proceedings with a dazzling set of hoop earrings, while accessorising further with an envy inducing pair of black strappy heels.
Sandra is perhaps most known for starring alongside Hollywood hunk Colin Farrell in horror movie Fright Night, where she played the sexy Ginger.
Although her sister is renowned in Hollywood, Sandra previously revealed that she is making a name for herself, even though the sisters share the same surname.
It helps, not because Sofia helped me,’ she told Huffington Post. ‘It's not like that. I did everything on my own, but it helps because it's name recognition.
‘She is beloved by the public, and so being related to someone who is so dear is a good thing.’
‘My relationship with Sofia is normal. She's helped me out in a number of other things,’ the Colombian beauty went on to say. ‘She invited me to live with her in Los Angeles, and that's where I started to take off and choose what I wanted to do -- and for that I'm grateful to her for everything.’
Meanwhile, also at the star-studded event was British actress Emily Blunt, who beamed in a demure soft pink frock adorned with intricate embroidery.
The 31-year-old star sparkled with the help of the tailored gown which featured three-quarter sleeves and fell to the middle of her calves.
She teamed the ensemble with a pair of brilliant bejeweled strappy sandals and accessorized with diamond earrings and several matching rings.
The Edge Of Tomorrow star had her highlighted locks styled straight to her shoulders with pale makeup, brown eye shadow and slick of pink lipstick.
She was joined at the gala by fellow Hollywood luminaries like True Detective star Michelle Monaghan, Channing Taturm and Mad Men actress Kiernan Shipka.
Michelle had the crowd green with envy as she beamed in an emerald ruffled sleeveless dress.
The 38-year-old teamed her flirty number with a killer pair of metallic pumps and small green clutch.
With her honey blonde tresses immaculately styled, the talented actress sported a light bronze glaze, dark eyeliner and a pink lip.
The Hamilton Behind The Camera Awards pay tribute to key behind-the-scenes talent whose individual work contributes to the quality of a motion picture and to the lasting impression that it has on audiences.
Honorees include directors, screenwriters, casting directors and property masters.
Meanwhile Emily is getting ready for the release of her latest film Into The Woods.
The English actress had to exercise her vocal chops for the film adaptation of the Tony award-winning Broadway musical.
While soon audiences around the world will be able to hear her vocal stylings, her husband John Krasinski has already let her know how impressed he is with singing abilities.
'He said it blew his hair back. I don’t know if it’s a good thing or a bad thing. He was kind of shocked I think,' she told USA Today.
