Garth Brooks Justin Timberlake

Garth Brooks Justin Timberlake, Justin Timberlake fans got a touch of twang at his concert on Friday.

The singer surprised the crowd with an appearance by Garth Brooks at the Nashville Bridgestone Arena during a cover of the country legend's iconic tune "Friends in Low Places."

Midway through the number, Timberlake paused to tell the audience, "Hold on, now something don't feel right, something don't feel right, Nashville."

"I mean if you're going to do this," he continued. "Garth?"

In a video captured by a fan, the crowd goes wild as the country star hits the stage to continue the next verse.

"I saw an ENTERTAINER tonight! @justintimberlake #Justinrcredible," Brooks, 52, captioned a video of the performance on Instagram.

And it seems Timberlake – who was born in Memphis – was just as honored to share the stage with Brooks.

"Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. So... Yes. This happened," Timberlake, 33, reposted the same video to his Instagram, followed by a photo of the duo.

"Last one... Just two boys admiring a sold-out crowd in Nashville," he wrote.
