According to a Dec. 14 report from The Huffington Post, Charlie Sheen may be returning to “Two and Half Men.” Apparently Ashton Kutcher appeared on “Ellen” last week and was silent when asked about a possible Sheen return. In the past he has said he would return to the show if Chuck Lorre would allow it.

When Charlie Sheen was fired from “Two and a Half Men,” fans were devastated. There was panic about who would replace him and whether or not the show would go on. Eventually Ashton Kutcher was hired as his replacement, but the show lost many loyal fans. With the possibility of Sheen being back for the finale, the probability of record ratings is good. Although there is no confirmation, many are speculating this may be the truth. Kutcher's reaction was telling at the very least.

It is amazing that “Two and a Half Men” survived as long as it has without Charlie Sheen. He was the show whether or not Chuck Lorre wants to admit it. With all of the issues Sheen has had in the past, his firing was still a shock. There was complete fall out between Lorre and Sheen, which complicated the show's status. If Charlie Sheen is back for the finale, fans will be able to finally have some closure. While we won't know whether or not this is going to happen until closer to the finale, there are high hopes.
