The would-be suicide bombers dressed as women Saturday before a foiled attempt to cross into Saudi Arabia from Yemen, security officials said.
The male driver told border security that he was taking his female relatives for a visit.
But when the officials sent the car to a police station for a check of the passengers’ IDs, a shootout erupted and the three men were killed.
