And Real Housewives Of Atlanta star Apollo Nida, has given InTouch his first interview from behind bars. Contrary to reports that wife Phaedra Parks wants to end their marriage, Apollo, 36, is trying to stay positive and revealed: 'I'm hopeful that we can stick things out.

Yes, we've had problems - especially over the last year - but we've gotten on terms now where I can call her and it's cordial,' he added.

Phaedra, 41, recently told TV host Ellen DeGeneres that she was filing for divorce from her husband of five years.
However, Apollo insists it's not true and that she's even planning on bringing their two sons for a visit. 'There’s a plan to get them up here,' the father-of-two said.

However, Phaedra's rep tells InTouch: 'The divorce is proceeding as planned.' adding that 'while Phaedra and the boys do speak with Apollo regularly, there have been absolutely no discussions about reconciling.'

The couple share boys Ayden, four, and Dylan, 18 months and Apollo has vowed to turn his life around, saying: 'I know for a fact that when I get home, I will pick up the pieces.

The TV personality also said he's sorry for the mistakes he's made and admits he knows he 'let a lot of people down.'
In May, Apollo pleaded guilty to charges of mail, wire and bank fraud after allegedly laundering more than $2.3m and stealing over 50 people's identities.

After Phaedra failed to support him during his court hearings, rumours of their divorce had surfaced.
