Stars Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman had a laugh about the many classic title miscues they have heard over the years. It’s been a lot since they were celebrating the film’s 20th anniversary at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences on Tuesday night.
“You won’t believe what we hear from people,” said Robbins.One lady stopped me in the elevator and said, ‘I just saw you in Hudsucker Reduction.’ “
Robbins pointed out that sometimes people don’t get one word right. “It’s just a garble of syllables.”
Director Frank Darabont also took his place in the reunion which featured Clancy Brown (Captain Hadley), Gil Bellows (Tommy), Mark Rolston (Bogs Diamond), David Proval (Snooze), Jude Ciccolella (Guard Mert) and Paul McCrane (Guard Trout).
