Katy Perry's DJ beau Diplo welcomes second son Lazer with ex Kathryn Lockhart, He is Daddy Diplo once more. The 36-year-old DJ, who's real name is Thomas Pentz, welcomed his second son Lazer Lee Louis Pentz with ex girlfriend Kathryn Lockhart on Sunday, according to Us Weekly.
Diplo is currently dating pop star Katy Perry after he broke off his on-off relationship with Kathryn during which she was two months pregnant at the time.
Baby Lazer arrived weighing 8 pounds, 10 ounces as both parents were present at the birth. Diplo and Kathryn are already parents to four-year-old son, Lockett.
An insider close to the former couple shared that the hitmaker is 'currently spending time with his ex and his little boy, buying baby supplies.'
The day before on Saturday, Diplo previewed the news on his Instagram account. Sorry I been offline last few days... I'm going home to meet a new member of my family,' he wrote in the caption.
Hours before the baby's birth, he was in the middle of the Mad Decent Boat Party where he was headlining a four day cruise which sailed from Miami, Florida to Nassau, Bahamas.
And while he shares custody of his two loves Lockett and Lazer, Diplo has been spending most of his time with new love Katy Perry.
The chart-topping duo began dating in late April and the pair seem to be going strong as he recently started a online feud against one of the 30-year-old singer's enemies, Taylor Swift.
Diplo's rant with Taylor was rumoured to have been brought on by the Blank Space songstress after writing a song about Katy, titled Bad Blood.
On November 12, he posted several demeaning and body shaming tweets aimed at Swift, joking that he wanted to start a fundraising account to get her a 'booty.'
It was an unprovoked attack from the musician when he took to Twitter to write: 'Someone should make a kickstarter to get taylor swift a booty (sic).'
He later tweeted, 'body shaming myself right now' and Diplo then tweeted a link to a Fundly account - started by a fan called Eric Spivak that called itself Get Taylor Swift A Booty.
The description of the campaign claimed to be supporting the top-charting singer but it was deeply sarcastic.
It read: 'Taylor Swift Still Needs Your Help! Any true supporter of TSWIFT would definitely not pass up this opportunity to improve her posterior! Spread The Word If You Believe In Magic!'
Taylor's best friend and fellow multi-talented artist Lorde supported the 1989 star by calling out Diplo in a response tweet writing, 'should we do something about your tiny penis while we're at it hm.'
On Saturday, he retweeted Lorde's words and shared, 'the moment u realize she's a high school student.'
Further adding: 'Disappointed the swift boat veterans didn't get my tiny d*** a fundly going (enlarge my bae).
