JESSICA ALBA'S STYLE,  Jessica Alba's ex told her she dresses like an old woman. The 33-year-old star is considered one of Hollywood's most gorgeous women and has made it onto Maxim's and TV Guide's hottest women lists, as well as being voted FHM's Sexiest Woman in the World in 2007.

She's also a style icon for many, favouring midi-length skirts and dresses. While these are bang on trend now, they haven't always gone down well with past boyfriends.

"An ex once told me I dress like an old woman," she laughed to German magazine Jolie. But for those who still covet her style she offered some tips, explaining that she likes to pair A-line dresses and skirts with black or navy blazers.
And it doesn't cost a bomb to get her look, either.

Her top tip is to pair high street favourites with designer pieces.
"I love wearing basics from shops like H&M, Topshop, Zara or Gap with clothing from Narciso Rodriguez, Alexander Wang or Prada," she said.

Alongside running The Honest Company and starring in movies, Jessica raises daughters Honor and Haven with her husband Cash Warren. It means she doesn't always have a lot of time to get ready in the morning. But she has a handy hint for busy mums - wear a hat.

"You look good straight away," she smiled. "And it deals with unstyled hair, too." Her other essentials include a large handbag and a pair of sunglasses.

And while she may be a beauty icon for women all over the world, the star also looks up to certain actresses. Her favourites are Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn, who she describes as "timelessly elegant".
