Its renewal signals the streaming network's continued effort to maintain a presence across all genres. Next up for Netflix is the international tale Marco Polo in December and the first of several Marvel partnerships, Daredevil, in May 2015.
Netflix continues to make a big push for global subscribers, recently ordering its first French series, Marseilles. Other upcoming projects include Narcos, a drama based on Pablo Escobar's Medellin Cartel, and an untitled Spanish-language comedy from director Gaz Alazraki.
