Chelsea Clinton leaving NBC News, The Washington Post's Charles Lane discussed recent comments by Hillary Rodham Clinton regarding job creators.
"Don't let anybody tell you that corporations and businesses create jobs," Clinton said.
Lane remarked in irony that it is thanks to a major corporation that Clinton's daughter Chelsea was employed for three years.
"I don't know. I thought NBC created a job for Chelsea, so there is at least one corporation that has created a job." Lane said.
Chelsea Clinton announced in August that she would leave her position as Special Correspondent for NBC News.
After receiving criticism for her original statement, Hillary Rodham Clinton later clarified, saying that she "short-handed" her belief that 'trickle-down economics' has "failed".
