Where are these 'Roseanne' stars now?

Where are these 'Roseanne' stars now?, Among this fall's new TV shows, "The McCarthys" is gathering buzz. The CBS comedy, which premieres on Oct. 30, stars Laurie Metcalf, who won an Emmy for her role as Jackie on "Rosanne." Let's catch up on Metcalf and other notable "Roseanne" stars.

Tom Arnold

Tom Arnold (pictured left) played the loutish Arnie Thomas, one of Dan Conner's buddies. Off-screen, his marriage to Roseanne Barr made headlines and was even turned into a TV movie. Arnold has mellowed since becoming a first-time dad in 2013 at the age of 54. He recently showed off a much-slimmer form (how much did he lose?) on this reality show.

ROSEANNE BARR

She made her mark in standup, but Roseanne Barr's personal life seemed to center more on drama than comedy. Remember when she butchered "The Star Spangled Banner" (see video)? Barr is currently involved in a lawsuit filed by the parents of George Zimmerman, known for shooting Trayvon Martin (why?).

SANDRA BERNHARD

Comedian Sandra Bernhard was best known as a frequent visitor on this late-night TV staple before she joined the cast of "Roseanne" as Nancy Bartlett (why was this character a trailblazer?). Currently on tour, the 59-year-old has appeared on this ABC Family drama.

SARAH CHALKE

Sarah Chalke was one of two actresses to play Becky Conner (who was the other?). Chalke went on to star in another hit sitcom (which one?) and has appeared on several episodes of "Cougar Town."

GEORGE CLOONEY

George Clooney appeared in 11 episodes as Booker Brooks, Roseanne's boss at Wellman Plastics (see him on the show). What's he done since then? He's been busy winning two Academy Awards, snagging three Golden Globes and most recently, getting married.

MICHAEL FISHMAN

"Roseanne" fans pretty much saw Michael Fishman grow up on the show (how old was he when he joined the cast?) as little bro D.J. After co-hosting and producing this show, Fishman went behind-the-camera, working as a production and set designer. The 32-year-old has two children with wife Jennifer.

JOHNNY GALECKI

Belgium-born Johnny Galecki played the bumbling David Healy, the boyfriend and eventual hubby of this character. He is now better known to a new generation of fans as Dr. Leonard Hofstadter on this hit sitcom.

SARA GILBERT

Sara Gilbert (shown right) played Darlene, the snarky tomboy. Gilbert's been plenty busy since the show ended. She's co-host and executive producer of this popular show. She married songwriter-producer Linda Perry (she's behind this '90s hit) in March 2014 and the couple recently announced this big news.

JOHN GOODMAN

The comic-actor won this award for his role as everyman Dan, head of the Conner household. Goodman has made a flawless transaction to the big screen, receiving major props for his role in this movie and in this Academy-Award winner.

ALICIA 'LECY' GORANSON

Alicia Goranson aka Lecy Goranson (shown left) was the first actress to play oldest child Becky Conner. Goranson (how old is she now?) has had TV guest roles on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" and "Fringe."

LAURIE METCALF

Laurie Metcalf (did she ever win an Emmy?) played Roseanne's hilariously neurotic sister Jackie. Metcalf (how old is she?) returns to TV this fall on the CBS sitcom "The McCarthys," where she'll play the matriarch of a Boston family.

MARTIN MULL

Martin Mull (what '70s cult favorite was he on?) played the openly gay Leon Carp, who was co-owner of Roseanne's cafe (what was it called?). Mull had a recurring role as Crawford Whittemore on TV's "Dads" and as Gene Parmesan in "Arrested Development."

ESTELLE PARSONS

The Academy Award-winning (for what movie?) Estelle Parsons played Roseanne and Jackie's overly critical mother Beverly Harris. In the series finale, Beverly drops this bombshell.
