Sandra Bullock Helps Save Fainting Extra on Her New Orleans Movie Set, Miss Congeniality, for real! Sandra Bullock showed her good spirit on the New Orleans set of her new movie on Sunday, Oct. 26, when she stepped in to help a coworker in need.
The Oscar winner, 50, has been filming her next movie Our Brand Is Crisis in Louisiana, where temperatures hit the 80s this past weekend.
As TMZ first reported, while filming on Sunday, an extra for the movie collapsed. Seemingly suffering from heatstroke, the woman fainted during the outdoor shoot. Sources confirm the report to Us Weekly.
Bullock came to her aide, sitting on the concrete to help the woman and provide her with water.The actress' costar Billy Bob Thornton was also reportedly on the scene.
Bullock and Thornton, 59, star in the upcoming political dramedy. Based on a 2005 documentary of the same name, it focuses on the 2002 presidential election in Bolivia. Due out in 2016, the movie is directed by David Gordon Green (Pineapple Express) and also stars Scoot McNairy, Anthony Mackie, and Ann Dowd.
