Emery said Houston faces a six-to-eight-month rehabilitation.
"I have to get an MRI in the morning, hopefully everything is good, but we'll see tomorrow," Houston said Sunday. "I probably shouldn't have celebrated while they were blowing us out, but it happens."Landed wrong, tried to hop up, didn't feel right, so we'll see what happens tomorrow."
The Bears, however, feared the worst, a league source had told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
"He's got a knee, and I'm very disappointed for him," coach Marc Trestman said Sunday. "I'm very disappointed for Lamarr."
The celebration and subsequent injury were reminiscent of an injury suffered by Detroit Lions linebacker Stephen Tulloch, who tore his ACL earlier in the season while celebrating.
Also, Emery said left guard Matt Slauson is out for the season with a torn right pectoral muscle. He faces a three-to-four-month rehab.
