Elizabeth Norment, who is most recognized for her role as Nancy Kaufberger in Netflix’s House Of Cards, sadly died at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center on Oct. 13.

The actress regularly appeared on the Netflix series, playing a faithful secretary serving the devious Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) and his equally notorious partner, Doug Stamper, (Michael Kelly).
Her death has saddened the House Of Cards production company, MRC, who told the Hollywood Reporter, “Elizabeth Norment was a talented actress with a beautiful spirit who touched the entire House of Cards family.”
Everyone at House of Cards is deeply saddened by Elizabeth’s passing. She was a talented actress, a warm soul and a good friend to us all,” the show’s writer, Beau Willemon, added. At this time, it’s unclear how the show plans on dealing with Elizabeth’s absence.

The talented actress was also seen in a bunch of TV shows, including Law & Order and All My Children, before she landed her breakout role as Nancy.
Elizabeth is survived by her mother, three sisters — Kate, Sarah, and Martha — her brother, Clarence, and six nieces and nephews.
Her cause of death is still unknown.
