Ellen Degeneres First Job Jcpenney, Ellen DeGeneres’ first job was at the JCPenney in Metairie, Louisiana. The new JCPenney spokeswoman dropped by the store on her recent visit to her hometown to see if she still had what it takes to work at JCPenney!
Ellen tried her hand at the register, taking returns, folding customer’s purchases, in the optometry department, managing the fitting rooms and helping out in the shoe department.
