Tara Muchow did Heimlich, Back in June a great feel good teacher story came out where a student’s life was saved by her teacher.
Mercedes Watson cried tears of joy lamenting about her teacher Tara Muchow.
Students were having a picnic. This school teaches special needs students how to develop skills to get jobs so the teachers are already doing great work!
Mercedes was eating a brownee and it got stuck and she started to choke. Teacher Tara and her aide Kathy North were there and Tara performed the Heimlich maneuver.
It’s fairly likely she saved her students life with her quick thinking and putting training into action.The student-teacher pair already had a special bond with Tara applying for a grant for Mercedes to receive clothing. She managed to obtain the grant!
