Harry Styles wins paparazzi injunction
Harry Styles wins paparazzi injunction, One Direction star Harry Styles has won a court order to prevent paparazzi photographers from harassing him, his lawyer said Monday.

The High Court injunction against several photographers refered to as "Paparazzi AAA and others" stops them from pursuing the singer by car or motorbike.

It also bans them from putting the 19-year-old under surveillance, loitering or waiting within 50 metres of his place of residence.

His lawyer David Sherborne told Justice Nicola Davies: "This is not a privacy injunction".
"Mr Styles is not trying to prevent fans approaching him in the street and taking photos. He remains happy to do that, as he always has.

"Rather, it is the method or tactics which have been used by a certain type of photographer."
He said the singer had applied for the injunction as a "last resort" after attempts to persuade them to change their behaviour voluntarily had failed.

The injunction, which was first granted last Monday, will stand until January 13 when the High Court will decide on any further action.

Styles was at an award ceremony in Cannes, southern France, on Saturday, with fellow members of the English-Irish boyband, whose "Midnight Memories" was the fastest selling album in Britain this year.
The singer's busy schedule then took him to London for the final of "The X Factor" -- the talent show which shot the group to stardom.

He did not attend last week's injunction hearing, media reports said.
