Ceramic Squirrel Stabbing, A South Carolina woman has been charged in a ceramic squirrel stabbing incident, according to a Dec. 27 NBC News report. 44-year-old Helen Ann Williams was held on a domestic abuse charge for stabbing her common-law husband with a ceramic squirrel. Williams reportedly stabbed the 41-year-old for coming home late without any beer.

Jail records show that Williams is being held in the Charleston County jail on $10,000 cash bond, and she is scheduled for a hearing Charleston County Circuit Court in April to face the charge of domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature.

WebPro News reports that Williams’ husband left to buy wine late Christmas Eve, but returned without any alcohol because the stores were all closed. Police reports indicate that an angry Williams then stabbed him with a ceramic squirrel as he made himself a Christmas Eve sandwich. He fled to the neighbor’s home to call 911.
